Nigerian songstress Tiwa Savage disclosed that her journey into music was inspired by a crush she had on a man frequently spotted with artists.
She shared this revelation during a recent interview with MTV Live while discussing her latest project, “Water and Garri.”

The movie, produced by Unbound Studios and Everything Savage, is now available on Amazon Prime Video. Directed by Meji Alabi, “Water and Garri” adds to the diverse collection of Nollywood entertainment on Prime Video Nigeria.
In an interview, Tiwa Savage revealed that acting was her initial passion before music, citing her desire to be close to her crush as the reason she ventured into the music industry.
She said; “I’ve always wanted to do acting. Acting was one of my first love before music. I got into music because I had a crush on a guy and he was always around the musician so I said ‘yeah, forget acting and just go into music.’”
