“Please forgive me if I stop spraying money on street” – Portable begs fans after EFCC sends Bobrisky to jaail (Video)

Portable’s response to Bobrisky’s arrest has caused a stir online, prompting discussions among social media users.

Bobrisky was sentenced to six months in jail by the Federal High Court in Lagos for naira abuse, with no option of a fine, after pleading guilty to the charges.

The sentencing came after Bobrisky’s arrest by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Since Bobrisky’s arrest, Nigerians on social media have been highlighting other instances of naira abuse by celebrities, often tagging the EFCC in their posts.

However, Portable, known for his philanthropic gestures, took a different approach. In a video plea to his fans, the ‘Zazuu Zeh’ crooner announced his decision to stop spraying Naira notes on the streets.

He explained that while he used to shower money on his supporters as a form of protection, he now fears government officials. Instead, he will transfer money directly to his fans’ bank accounts.

In his words, “After God na Government, Please forgive me if you have videos of me spraying money, no more spraying of money”.

His post triggered massive reactions as social media users shared their thoughts via comment section.
