Controversial Nigerian actor Uche Maduagwu has disclosed that he was approached with an offer of money to make false accusations against the late Mohbad’s wife, implicating her in her husband’s demise and promoting a narrative of her undergoing a DNA test.
According to the actor, he was contacted by a certain group of individuals on September 15 who proposed a sum of 3 million naira in exchange for spreading a fabricated story about Mohbad’s wife being involved in the singer’s passing and advocating for a DNA test to be conducted on the late singer’s wife.
Uche Maduagwu stated that he promptly rejected the 3 million naira offer from these unidentified individuals without hesitation. He emphasized that he had no personal connection or affiliation with the late Mohbad or his family that would lead him to make baseless accusations against the wife.
He further concluded that he strongly believes these same individuals have approached other online personalities to propagate the false narrative that Mohbad’s wife is a primary suspect and to advocate for a DNA test.
