Popular Nigerian skit creator, Apaokagi Adedoyin Maryam, known as Taaooma, continues to bring laughter to her audience with her latest comedy sketch, which pokes fun at Ilorin people.
Taaooma, a highly innovative content producer, shared this comedy video on her verified Instagram profile today, October 26, 2023, and it had her audience laughing uncontrollably.
In the sketch, Taaooma is sitting in her room in her usual attire when Mummy Quadri, an Ilorin mother wearing a hijab, enters with her son Quadri. The Ilorin mother explains that they came to see Daddy, but he’s not home.
Taaooma confirms that her husband isn’t home, mentioning that he has traveled.
Mummy Quadri, the Ilorin mother, explains to Taaooma that they came to remind Daddy of his promise to “sponsor” her son Quadri by paying his school fees.
For a few moment, Taaooma was lost with the word “Sphonsore” and by extension responded “Sponshore….No, it’s offshore, you meant sponsor?”
However, the Mummy Quadri comes with a change of mind as she tells Taaooma that her son will not be interested in school rather he wants him to be a footballer instead.
Mummy Quadri brought out the Ilorin in her as she averred that those footballers are making huge amount of money using Roanldo as an example. She said that Ronaldo earns N600K a week.Reacting, Taaooma corrected her as she revealed Ronaldo earns $4miilion dollars every week.

Upon hearing this, Mummy Quadri said “Walahi he(Quadri) has to be a footballer, and in fact his name will be QR7.”
Taaooma used to opportunity to mock the Ilorin woman as she said that it’s not QR7 but QR code instead of her saying CR7.
However, Quadri while speaking shows the Ilorin boy in him as he said he doesn’t want to be a footballer, rather he would like to be in a place where a lot of money is kept.
He said “No mummy I don’t want to be a footballer, I want ot be in a place where a lot of money are kept.”
When he was asked to say the place, Quadri left many in a confused state as he stressed that he would like to be doing POS job instead of being a footballer.
