Funke Glorious has expressed her apologies to Yinka Alaseyori in regards to their copyright dispute, aiming to reconcile their differences.
As per Famous9ja reports, Funke had previously made allegations of copyright infringement against Yinka Alaseyori.
A circulating online video featured Funke publicly addressing the matter, alleging that Yinka had purportedly plagiarized her song. Funke expressed her disappointment and highlighted a supposed pattern of Yinka allegedly stealing songs from their colleagues while feigning innocence.
In an effort to resolve the conflict, Funke appealed to those close to Yinka to advise her and emphasized that her silence should not be misunderstood as acceptance or approval.
“Anyone who knows her should warn her. When you do something wrong, you wouldn’t talk about it, you would stay silent. What nonsense is happening in this industry? You did it once, twice, and now a third time. Did someone force you?”
“If I choose to remain quiet, it’s not because I am foolish. I have the copyright for my songs.”
In a recent update, Funke Glorious has taken a stance for peace and offered her apologies to Yinka.
Funke expressed that her emotions had overwhelmed her, leading her to speak words that do not align with her Christian values.
She proclaimed Yinka Alaseyori as her sister and expressed her unwavering fandom for her.
“I, FUNKE GLORIOUS, acknowledge that I allowed my emotions to overpower me, resulting in the utterance of words that were not reflective of my true intentions. I deeply apologize for this behavior. Minister Adeyinka Alaseyori is like a sister to me, and I have always been a staunch supporter and fan even before the misunderstanding arose. I do not desire her downfall, nor am I envious of her. Let peace prevail.”
