In a recent statement, Aminat Yusuf, who has been recognized as the top graduating student at LASU, shared the secret behind her remarkable achievement of attaining a perfect CGPA of 5.0.
Yusuf, who emerged as the best graduating student for the 2021/2022 academic session, has made history by breaking a four-decade-old record at Lagos State University (LASU).
To commemorate her outstanding academic accomplishment, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has announced a cash reward of N10 million for Aminat Yusuf.
During her recent interview with TVC, Aminat Yusuf, an indigene of Edo state and the top graduate from LASU, shared that she had contemplated leaving the country (commonly referred to as “Japa”) after completing Law School. However, her newfound global recognition through her remarkable achievement has thrust her into the spotlight and presented her with abundant opportunities. She mentioned that this has made her reconsider leaving the country, expressing her intention to return and contribute to society if she eventually decides to go abroad.
Regarding her exceptional 5.0 CGPA, Aminat Yusuf revealed that she would often dedicate up to 18 hours a day to studying, finding it an enjoyable pursuit. Furthermore, she mentioned that she is not active on Instagram or Twitter due to their time-consuming nature, and she confessed to lacking proficiency in operating Facebook.
The distinguished graduate, who obtained a Law degree with a perfect CGPA of 5.0, stated that her sole engagement on social media is watching movies on YouTube. You can view the video below (swipe to access).
