Nigerian gospel singer, Mercy Chinwo, and her husband, Pastor Blessed, are overjoyed to welcome their first child.
Just one year after their wedding, the award-winning singer and her spouse announced in April that they were expecting their first baby.
Mercy Chinwo confirmed the news by sharing a music video in which she proudly displayed her baby bump, expressing gratitude to God for the new addition and stating that their hearts are filled with joy and their lips with testimonies.
While the gender of the child hasn’t been officially disclosed, online rumors suggest that the couple has welcomed a baby boy.
She wrote: “Lord, we are grateful; we approach Your throne with heartfelt songs of praise and thanksgiving.
“You’ve filled our hearts with joy, our lips with testimonies, and our home with celebration. Indeed “YOU DO THIS ONE.”
