Ijeoma Josephina Otabor, commonly known as Phyna and the winner of Big Brother Naija season 7, shared that she has received her one-year supply of Pepsi and UNIK soap from the show’s organizers and sponsors. She also invited her fans to indicate if they were interested in receiving Pepsi drinks.
This announcement comes amidst Phyna’s ongoing dispute with the show organizers and sponsors regarding incomplete prizes. Specifically, Quidax had pledged to award Phyna 1 BTC as part of her winnings, but two years later, that promise remains unfulfilled.
In response to Phyna’s recent criticism, the organizers met with the reality star and offered her ₦13 million, claiming it was the equivalent value of 1 BTC in 2022 when the pledge was made.
However, Phyna, in a video message shared on her page, stated that she declined the offer and insisted on receiving the 1 BTC, which she pointed out is currently valued at over ₦90 million. Additionally, she demanded that the organizers and sponsors fulfill their promise of providing tickets for a trip for two to the Maldives, which was also part of her prize package.
Amidst this ongoing dispute, a recent video circulating on social media revealed that Phyna has received pledges for the promises made to her, including a year’s supply of Pepsi and UNIK soap.
Speaking about the said packages, she said: “Guys, my Pepsi is finally here, yes, one year of Pepsi. Who wants Pepsi? Drink Pepsi.”
She made the statement while going ahead to share a glimpse of the UNIK soap she was also relieved by the show organizers.
