Amidst an atmosphere of grandeur and excitement, Nollywood’s brightest stars graced the city of Abeokuta, Ogun state’s capital, gathering together to show their love and unwavering support for the esteemed veteran actor, Alhaji Abdulsalam Sanyaolu, fondly known as Charles Olumo Agbako, on the joyous occasion of his 100th birthday celebration.
The Theatre Arts and Motions Pictures Practitioners in Nigeria (TAMPAN) had vowed to commemorate this living legend on his momentous day, and they lived up to their promise in a truly remarkable manner.
Abeokuta was adorned with the presence of numerous Nollywood icons and distinguished members of the Ogun State chapter of TAMPAN, all coming together as one to pay tribute and rejoice in the extraordinary life of Charles Olumo.
The event was graced by a host of celebrities, including Toyosi Adesanya, Odunlade Adekola, Lere Paimo, Rose Odika, Bolaji Amusan (also known as Mr. Latin), Tunde Kelani, Tunbosun Odunsi, Yemi Solade, and several other prominent figures. Together, they gathered to honor the legendary actor and pay their heartfelt respects.
