Ejikeme Joy, a young Nigerian student, has denied the accusations made by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) regarding the manipulation of her exam results.
In a widely circulated video, she expressed that she has experienced profound distress since learning about the allegations made against her.
She presented the result slip that she obtained from the JAMB portal, which showed an aggregate score of 362.
She affirmed that this was the authentic result she printed from JAMB, and she is unaware of the source of the allegations regarding result manipulation.
After submitting her result to the commissioner of education, she was informed that her result was deemed as not being original. Consequently, an investigation was initiated as the QR code on the result displayed a different name.
However, to her astonishment, even before the investigation could be concluded, her name began circulating on the internet with accusations of score manipulation.
Ejikeme vehemently maintained her innocence, asserting that she is incapable of such actions, and any issues with her result should be attributed to the board and not herself.
The response to Ejikeme Joy’s defense sparks varied reactions.
