Veteran Nollywood icon Pete Edochie has firmly expressed his stance that men who resort to violence against women under any provocation cannot be considered true men.
During the shooting of a commercial for Life Lager beer, the esteemed actor, who recently marked his 77th birthday, disclosed that his birthday aligns with International Women’s Day on March 8.
He proceeded to extol the virtues of women, asserting that a house truly becomes a home only when a woman takes residence within its walls.
Pete Edochie admonished men, emphasizing that a woman’s power lies in her words, and anyone who resorts to violence against a woman due to mere irritation lacks the qualities of a true man.
Furthermore, he suggested that any man capable of harmonious coexistence with a woman is fit to govern not only a local government but also an entire nation.
